Privacy policy

This statement tells you which personal data are processed when you visit this website, and which are not. Last updated: October 2026.

This English page is a convenience translation. The German privacy policy at /datenschutz is the legally binding version.

Table of contents

1. The essentials

This website is an information site. It loads Cookiebot to manage consent. Instantly and Crazy Egg tracking load only if you consent to marketing (section 6). Personal data arise when the site is requested (server logs, section 3), when consent is managed and — after consent — when visitor tracking runs (section 6), and when you contact us yourself, by email, telephone or through the contact and demo forms (sections 4 and 5). A language cookie is set only if you change the language with the switcher (section 6).

2. Controller

The controller within the meaning of Art. 4(7) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

clouditiv GmbHRobert-Blum-Str. 25D-08209 Auerbach/VogtlandDeutschland

Telephone:(03744) 365 2202Email:[email protected]Managing directors:Niklas Schult und Klaus Bauer

No data protection officer has been appointed, because the statutory conditions for a duty to appoint one are not met.

3. Visiting the website and server logs

When you request this website, your browser necessarily sends data to the web server that delivers the pages. The following are stored temporarily in server logs: the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time of access, the page requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page (referrer, if sent) and the browser type and operating system (user agent).

This processing is required to deliver the website, to keep it technically secure and to analyse faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR). The logs are not combined with other data, are not used to build usage profiles and are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless a security incident requires a longer retention.

4. Contact by email and telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you give us (for example name, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry) solely to handle and answer your request.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering the requests addressed to us (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR). We delete these data as soon as they are no longer needed for that purpose and no statutory retention duties — for example under commercial or tax law — stand in the way.

5. Contact and demo forms

Through the contact form you send us your name, your business email address, optionally your company, the topic you choose and your message. Through the demo request form you send us your business email address, optionally your name, and the page you are requesting from. We process these details solely to handle and answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1) sentence 1(b) GDPR where your request is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering requests (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR). We delete the details as soon as they are no longer needed for that purpose and no statutory retention duties stand in the way.

The forms send your details as an email to our mailbox. For sending we use Mailgun, a service of Mailgun Technologies, Inc., 112 E Pecan St #1135, San Antonio, Texas 78205, USA, through its EU region. Mailgun processes the details on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Where data may be transferred to the USA in the process, this is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Mailgun's privacy notice: https://www.mailgun.com/legal/privacy-policy/.

To protect against automated requests and abuse, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When the form is shown, your browser loads a script from challenges.cloudflare.com. Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser and device details to check whether the request comes from a person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website against spam and abuse (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR). A transfer to the USA is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare is certified. Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

If you enter your email address on the home page to create an account, it is passed to the registration in the account area, which states which data it processes. The price calculator on this website does not send what you enter to us or to anyone else; it stays in your browser.

6. Cookies, analytics and third-party embeds

Without your consent this website sets no cookies for marketing or analytics. No advertising networks are used. After you consent to the marketing category, the website loads Instantly visitor tracking and Crazy Egg.

If you change the language with the switcher in the navigation, your browser stores the cookie sv-locale with the value de or en for twelve months. It remembers only that choice, carries no identifier and is not used for analytics. Choosing a language automatically from the language your browser sends (Accept-Language) does not set a cookie.

To manage consent we use Cookiebot, a service of Usercentrics A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark. When you open the site, your browser loads the script from consent.cookiebot.com. Your IP address and browser details may be sent to Usercentrics so the notice can be shown and your choice recorded. Cookiebot stores that choice in the cookie CookieConsent. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in demonstrable consent management (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR). Cookies that are not necessary are set only after your consent (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Cookiebot's privacy policy: https://www.cookiebot.com/en/privacy-policy/.

If you consent to marketing, your browser loads the script from r2.leadsy.ai. The provider is Instantly, Foo Monk LLC, 30 N. Gould St., Ste. R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, USA. Visits can be evaluated and matched with company data. Your IP address, pages viewed, device and browser details and an identifier may be sent to Instantly in the USA. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR). We rely on that consent for the transfer to the USA (Art. 49(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR). You withdraw consent via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Instantly's privacy policy: https://instantly.ai/privacy.

If you consent to marketing, your browser also loads the script from script.crazyegg.com. The provider is Crazy Egg, Inc., 3013 Seabrook Court, Redwood City, CA 94065, USA. Crazy Egg records how pages are used (including clicks, scrolling and session paths) in order to build heatmaps. Your IP address, pages viewed, device and browser details and an identifier may be sent to Crazy Egg in the USA. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR). We rely on that consent for the transfer to the USA (Art. 49(1) sentence 1(a) GDPR). You withdraw consent via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Crazy Egg's privacy policy: https://www.crazyegg.com/privacy. You can also opt out of recording at https://www.crazyegg.com/opt-out.

After you consent to the statistics category, we load Google Analytics through www.googletagmanager.com to measure the use of this website. Information about pages viewed, devices, browsers and cookie identifiers is transmitted to Google. You can change or withdraw your choice via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Further information: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

Fonts and graphics live on this website's own web server. Connections to third-party servers are Cookiebot's consent script, Cloudflare Turnstile in the contact form (section 5) and, only after the respective consent, Google Analytics, Instantly visitor tracking and Crazy Egg.

8. Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights with regard to personal data concerning you:

  • Access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • Objection to processing based on Art. 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. A simple message to [email protected] is enough to exercise your rights.

9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). You may turn to the authority of your habitual place of residence or to the authority responsible for us in the Free State of Saxony.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We will adapt this privacy policy if the processing of data on this website changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
